Tamir Porat has recently been appointed as Chairman of the Board for the Israel-based international investment group, Smart Capital, behind the forex brokerage (or trade arena as they are called in Israel) of the same name. He currently serves as the CEO and co-owner of the Paz Porat Capital Group for real estate investments
In the past, Porat served in various senior management roles in the Israeli capital market and managed investments in the tens of billions of shekels. For over a decade he was the VP of Investment & Research at Clal Finance. Porat has a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
