RBS Veteran, Steve Briscoe Lands at LCH.Clearnet Group

Steve Briscoe has left RBS for LCH.Clearnet, where he will head the group's technology and operations.

Former Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) executive, Steve Briscoe, has been appointed as the newest Group Head of Technology and Operations at LCH.Clearnet Group, according to an LCH.Clearnet statement.

In his newest role as the group head of technology and operations at LCH.Clearnet, Mr. Briscoe will focus on the group’s development in these divisions, along with the provision of IT and operations across the entirety of the LCH.Clearnet.

Mr. Briscoe joins LCH.Clearnet after more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry, including most recently RBS. In this capacity he served as its head of operations for the markets division for over five years.

Prior to landing at RBS, he worked at UBS AG in a number of leadership roles for over 15 years, including most recently as managing director in London.

According to Suneel Bakhshi, CEO, LCH.Clearnet Group in a recent statement on the appointment, “We are delighted to welcome Steve Briscoe to the Group. LCH.Clearnet is committed to improving ways of working, through innovation, efficiency and effectiveness; enabling us to build on our market leading position in risk management and clearing solutions.”

“Steve has a strong track record of delivery from his previous roles and will work closely with the senior management team to further develop LCH.Clearnet’s technology and operations, added Bakhshi.
