Online Forex and CFDs brokerage OANDA and its Chief Marketing Officer Drew Izzo have parted ways, according to the executive’s LinkedIn profile. At present, the former head of the marketing department at the firm is listed as a “free agent at large”.

Finance Magnates has reached out to the company for further information on Mr Izzo’s replacement, however at the time of publication no official response has been received. The former Chief Marketing Officer of the brokerage has not replied to a request for a comment on his upcoming plans.

Drew Izzo has been with OANDA for almost two and a half years with his marketing career in the industry being focused at one other brokerage – IBFX. He was Vice President of marketing at the firm for four years, before joining Athlete.com as Chief Executive Officer for a year.

OANDA is one of the companies in the industry that has only committed to expanding its marketing efforts in recent years. Before that the brokerage relied on word of mouth and its very popular online foreign exchange converter that according to web Analytics company Similar Web has been netting the firm 10 million visits per month.
