Mitch Edwards Joins Globex as Chief Strategy Officer
- The former BitTorrent CFO has already worked on an array of different blockchain projects

Globex owns three blockchain technology companies; Tokenetics, KYCware, and CustodyWare.
Edwards will be leading the company’s efforts at global expansion. Though one might expect him to be solely concerned with business development, he will also be working on compliance procedures.
“Mitch has extensive experience in both capital markets and building blockchain businesses,” said Brian Collins, Globex CEO. “His experience covers investments in blockchain technologies and exchanges from early stage through project development and operations which will be a hugely important asset to our company as we continue to pursue our strategic priorities.”
Prior to taking up his new role, Edwards held a number of senior roles at blockchain and internet companies.

Alongside his current role, he is also Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Chia Network - a company that is developing a ‘green’ cryptocurrency. He was also CFO of Core Scientific, a company that builds blockchain infrastructure.
