Industry veteran Marco Baggioli is reportedly parting ways with ADS Securities, following a recent promotion to Group Chief Operating Officer (COO). He will be leaving the group in approximately three months to pursue other interests, according to an FxWeek report.

Mr. Baggioli was promoted just two months ago, after a two-year stint at the brokerage. He has also served as the firm's Executive Managing Director, most recently focusing on its Securities Operations, Legal & Compliance , Product and Change, IT, Marketing, and HR divisions.

He originally joined ADS Securities London back in 2015 during a time when the firm shifted focus towards the Middle East and relocated to Abu Dhabi.

While he will formally part ways with ADS Securities by year’s end, he has not made his future plans public. Finance Magnates reached out to Mr. Baggioli who was unavailable for additional comment.

He has held multiple senior level roles at several lenders and brokerages as part of a career spanning over two decades. The early stage of his career was spent at Citibank and JPMorgan, extending back to 1990, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.

Subsequent years saw him work at BNP Paribas, Monte Titoli, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, and again at JPMorgan. Prior to joining ADS Securities he worked at BNP Paribas for an additional stint, holding roles such as Head of Prime Brokerage in Europe, Head of OTC Clearing , Global Head of FX Prime Brokerage, and Global Head of Prime Brokerage.
