LiquidityBook On-Boards Les Vital as its Head of Technical Sales

Vital joins LiquidityBook, helping the group meet an increasing demand for the group’s POEMS platform.

LiquidityBook, a provider of FIX and OMS trading solutions for both the buy and sell side, has announced its latest senior appointment, adding Les Vital as Head of Technical Sales, according to a company statement.

Mr. Vital steps into his new role with over fifteen years of capital markets experience. As its Head of Technical Sales, he will be tasked with working in tandem with LiquidityBook’s sales, helping with onboarding, product management, and development teams. In this capacity he will be reporting directly to Sean Sullivan, Chief Revenue Officer at LiquidityBook.

His appointment coincides with LiquidityBook’s efforts to meet a growing demand for the group’s POEMS (portfolio, order and execution management system) platform, emphasizing an industry need to meet increasing regulatory compliance requirements ahead of MiFID II.

He joins from Broadridge Financial, having worked as its project manager in the group’s investment management solutions business in New York and London. Additional roles also include stops at Eze Software’s business consulting group and Morgan Stanley, among others.

According to Mr. Sullivan in a statement on the appointment: “We’ve seen demand surge for our platform, and adding high-caliber individuals is imperative to meeting it. Les brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience around investment management technology implementations, and we’re very excited to welcome him to the team.”

“I’ve worked directly with him for many years, and know that he will help us enhance the reputation for extremely high-quality customer service for which we’ve become known,” he concluded.
