JPMorgan Asset Management, an affiliate of JPMorgan, has rehired longtime executive Jonathon Griggs as its Director of Applied Research for the Global Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities group (FICC).

Mr. Griggs parted ways with JPMorgan after a fourteen-year tenure that saw him take up the role of senior portfolio manager at Rogge Global Partners Plc. In his new role at JPMorgan as the FICC director, Mr. Griggs will be tasked with fomenting strategies for application and risk budgeting across a variety of avenues, namely fixed income funds.

He will be based out of London, where he will be reporting to Robert Michele, JPMorgan’s Chief Investment Officer and Head of Global Fixed Income. His most recently held role at JPMorgan prior to his departure was chief investment officer for currency management.
