ITG Names Two Senior Hires in FX, Analytics Unit

Ruben Costa-Santos joins ITG as its Director and Head of FX with Andre Nogueira as the Director of the Analytics

ITG (NYSE:ITG), an independent execution broker and financial technology provider, has made two new hires to its foreign exchange (FX) unit and analytics team, securing Ruben Costa-Santos as its Director and Head of FX and Andre Nogueira as a Director of the Analytics Team.

In his new position Mr. Costa-Santos will help oversee ITG’s FX activity across such groups as analytics, execution and workflow technology. In this capacity he will be based out of ITG’s New York office. He joins ITG from Deutsche Bank, having worked as its Head of FX Platforms – Americas, part of a lengthy career with the lender extending back to 2004.

Andre Nogueira will be tasked with spearheading ITG’s analytics consulting efforts in Europe, while based out of the group’s London office. He lands at ITG from Bloomberg, after working in its multi-asset class trading analytics group since 2014. Additional roles also include various product management and trading systems stints at Societe Generale, Merrill Lynch, and the NYSE.

According to Frank Troise, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President, ITG, in a recent statement on the appointment: “Ruben has an extensive understanding of client needs and challenges in the evolving FX market and an established track record of delivery. This move demonstrates our commitment to pursue innovative, technology-driven multi-asset solutions for our clients in a commercial and practical manner.”
