Former CEO of DWS Nicolas Moreau Joins Advisory Board of ALPIMA

Nicolas Moreau, the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Deutsche Bank’s Asset Management subsidiary, DWS, has joined the advisory board of ALPIMA, a business-to-business advisory and financial technology firm, the company announced on Monday.

At present, Moreau is the current CEO of Ladbroke Advisory, a position he has held for three months. He is also on the Board of Chili Piper, a New York-based firm which operates in B2B sales.

Nicolas Moreau’s Career Before ALPIMA

Previously, Moreau was the CEO of DWS, a leading asset management firm. Here, he was based in Frankfurt and headed the company from March 2018 until October of 2018, his LinkedIn profile states.

During his career, which has spanned for more than three decades, he has spent a considerable amount of time at AXA, a French multinational insurance firm. Specifically, he spent 25 years with the firm, holding various roles.

In 1991, Moreau first joined the French firm as the Director of Corporate Finance, a position he held for more than six years and was based in Paris. After this, he then went on to become the CEO of AXA Rosenberg for one and a half years, based in California.

From here he went on to hold leading positions such as Chief Operating Officer of AXA Investment Managers, CEO of AXA Investment Managers, CEO of AXA UK and then most recently, the CEO of AXA France which was his final position with the insurance firm, his LinkedIn states.
