Alpima Appoints Former Goldman Sachs Exec to Head Sales Team
- Anastasia Bikou joins the FinTech firm after 9 years in Goldman's FX division
Alpima, an investment technology firm, announced this Thursday that Anastasia Bikou will be joining the company as Managing Director of Sales. The newly created role will see Bikou driving business forwards for the firm as it continues its efforts to expand.
Established in 2014, Alpima currently provides software solutions to institutional and professional investors. The company’s core aim is to boost investment strategy across the board.
Bikou will join the firm after having spent the past nine years at Goldman Sachs. Based in the investment bank’s London office, she worked as an executive director in the FX division, providing services to institutional clients across Europe.

Bikou, who has a BA from Brown University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance, started her career with Merrill Lynch in the mergers and acquisitions department. She also spent two years working for the National Bank of Greece on the over-the-counter derivatives desk.
In her new role, Bikou will report to Ilan Heimann, Alpima’s Head of Sales and Partnerships. Heimann has been at the firm since 2015 and also has previous experience with Goldman Sachs.
