Exclusive: Tradeview Markets Taps Kem Chong as its Head of Asia
- Kem will be tasked with spearheading Tradeview's expansion in Asia, focusing on Chinese markets.

Multi-asset brokerage Tradeview Markets has added to its growing team in Asia, this time installing Kem Chong as the group’s newest Head of Asia. His appointment heralds the company’s most senior hire to date in the region and will be instrumental in helping grow Tradeview's market footprint and sales staff in Asia.

The strengthening of Tradeview’s staff also represents the continuation of its previously outlined strategy for 2017, which called for an expansion in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Mr. Kem’s hire will also help Tradeview make further inroads to the region, and in particular China, which is seen as one of the largest growth markets. His familiarity with the region will also be important as Tradeview continues to see its business maintain its focus on China, which is largely an untapped market.
Veteran appointment
He joins Tradeview with immediate effect and will be focusing exclusively on supporting the company’s Asian operations. He comes over with over two decades of experience in the financial services industry, including a penchant for dealing with FX, options, and futures.
Mr. Kem previously worked at Peregrine Financial Group (PFG), having served as its Director of the Asian Division for nearly seven years. In this capacity he helped grow PFG into one of the key FX players in Asia. Additionally, he worked as a consultant at Avatrade.
