BofA Merrill Lynch’s Tonkin Promoted to Head of FX Prime Brokerage

Bank of America (BofA) Merrill Lynch’s Dean Tonkin has been promoted to the role of Head of Futures, and FX Prime Brokerage, according to a report from FXweek.
Mr. Tonkin is a financial services mainstay, having worked at a number of leading lenders for over a decade. He originally joined BofA Merrill Lynch back in 2012, where he worked as its managing director up until his recent promotion.

In his new role at BofA Merrill Lynch, Mr. Tonkin will be reporting to co-heads of FX trading, Chris Bae and Tom Gillie. He will continue to be based out of New York.
