BMLL Appoints Tim Baker to Enhance US Presence

A prominent independent provider of harmonized, historical Level 3 data and analytics, BMLL announced today that the company has appointed Tim Baker, an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the corporate sector, as a Senior Adviser to grow its presence in the United States.

In his career over approximately three decades, Baker worked with leading global companies, including IEX, Refinitiv and Thomson Reuters. In addition, he provided support to small financial technology companies as well to help them grow their business.

Based in New York, Baker will use his strong financial services expertise to assist the development and implementation of BMLL’s growth strategy in the US market. In the recent announcement, BMLL highlighted a surge in demand for its Level 3 Data and Analytics.

According to the firm, prominent hedge funds, international exchange groups, brokers, asset managers and banks are using the Level 3 Data and Analytics. BMLL offers 6.5 years of full-depth US order book data via the BMLL Data Lab and BMLL Data Feed, specifically for the US market.

Baker has a strong presence in the international financial services sector. He previously worked with Swiss financial giant UBS. In his new role, Baker is planning to expand the company’s presence across different locations.
