AvaTrade Taps David Bottin as Managing Director of its French Unit
David Bottin steps into a new senior role at AvaTrade France.

AvaTrade, an Ireland-based online provider of foreign exchange (FX) and contracts for difference (CFDs), has on-boarded David Bottin as the newest Managing Director of its French unit, Finance Magnates has learned.
In his new role Mr. Bottin will be based out of Paris – he steps into the position with immediate effect. The appointment represents Mr. Bottin’s first senior role in the FX industry. He has worked at several other venues over the past five years.

Prior to joining AvaTrade, Mr. Bottin held several positions in France, including stints as a Market Analyst at GKFX. He also worked in CFD sales at X-Trade Brokers DM SA, and was an analyst at ProfesseurForex, part of a career extending back to 2012, according to information made public on his Linkedin profile.

The appointment of Mr. Bottin constitutes AvaTrade’s first marquee move in 2017, and its latest since adding David Drazin as its new Chief Executive Officer, who joined from NASDAQ a few months prior.
