ANZ Secures Jennifer Kusuma as Senior Asia Rates Strategist from BNP

Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) has continued its spree of recent appointments, this time adding Jennifer Kusuma as Senior Asia Rates Strategist from BNP Paribas, according to a company statement.

In her new role Ms. Kusuma will be reporting to Khoon Goh, the group’s Head of Asia Research. She will be tasked providing analysis and insights in the fixed income markets space, relegated to key Asian markets, with an emphasis on Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

Ms. Kusuma joins ANZ from BNP Paribas, having worked as its foreign Exchange (FX) and Interest Rates Strategist. Her area of focus was currency and fixed income in Southeast Asian markets. Additional roles also include stints as an Asian Rates Strategist at Standard Chartered Bank.

According to Mr. Goh in a recent statement on the appointment: “Jennifer is well known among fixed income investors, having been highly commended in the Asian Local Currency Bond Benchmark Review of Sell-Side research analysts for the past two years. We are pleased that our clients will be able to benefit from her extensive experience and deep knowledge of the Southeast Asian fixed income market.”

Earlier this month, ANZ also on-boarded Lynwen Connick as its Chief Information Security Advisor and Mike Rider as its Chief Investment Officer.
