Andrew Gibson, who departed Alfa Capital Markets as the Head of Institutional Sales earlier this week, has joined Dubai-based forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) broker, Tavira Securities as the Head of Product Development.
“I am happy to announce that I have joined Tavira Securities Dubai as Head of Product Development for FX and CFDs,” Gibson wrote in a Linkedin post.

He moved back to the trading industry in August 2007 as a Sales Manager of FX Products at Fortis Bank Global Clearing, spending four years there. In addition, he worked for years at ABN AMRO Clearing Bank in an FX sales role and had a short stint at TradAir as Global Sales Director.
Furthermore, he worked at Netherlands-based Fastmatch for five months as a Foreign Exchange Consultant before joining BCS Financial Group. Prior to his role at Alfa Capital Forex, he was an FX Consultant at Amsterdam’s SGBbv.
