In her new role Ms. Squillacioti will also be appointed to the group’s board, lending her expertise in the region. In this capacity, she will be developing and growing the group’s business in the APAC region, including in its freshly launched Shanghai office.
She joins ACM after spending over a decade developing and managing CFDs and FX capabilities in China for IFX Markets and City Index. During her tenure with IFX Markets, she also helped build a comprehensive sales team, which helped her achieve success in the region.
According to Ms. Squillacioti in a recent statement on her appointment: “Having worked inside of the region from the very beginning, it has always been a struggle to balance the sales activities of the firm’s direct sales teams and also manage partner emotions when those overlap. It’s refreshing not only for me but for this region to have a new option for introducing brokers and affiliates without the traditional conflict of interest.”
