Additional roles also include several stints in the financial services and insurance space, with stops at HSB Engineering Insurance and IFPI, among others.
According to Graeme Watkins, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Valutrades in a recent statement on the appointment: “Liam brings a wealth of extensive FX industry experience from some of the biggest players in the market to Valutrades helping us to build on our long term commitment to building a market leading brokerage business.”
“With Liam’s strength in finance he will be concentrating on building out our extensive payment solutions and maintaining our solid financial position,” he noted.
The move is the first marquee appointment for Valutrades since the addition of Mr. Watkins himself, who joined the group back in October 2015. Like Mr. Bonfield, Mr. Watkins had existing ties to LCG, during which he worked in its FX Operations for over six years.
