American financial services provider, Cantor Fitzgerald, has named Samir Hussein as its newest Head of Internet and Media Investment Banking, in a bid to garner greater exposure into digital media sectors across financial markets.
Cantor Fitzgerald has already made a number of key hires this summer, restructuring its FX team and appointing a new London head – additionally three directors were added to its Prime Services business.

Alternatively, Mr. Hussein joins Cantor Fitzgerald’s New York base of operations, and will report to Charles Edelman and Jeff Lumby, the company’s co-Heads of Investment Banking.
Prior to joining Cantor Fitzgerald, Mr. Hussein served as the Managing Director in JMP Securities in its Investment Banking division. Before this he also worked in a variety of senior level roles at Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and Salomon Smith Barney.
