ADS Securities Taps Ryan Lemand as Head of Managed Solutions

ADS Securities has appointed Ryan Lemand as its newest Head of Managed Solutions and Business Development, the latest addition to its Asset Management team, according to an ADS statement.

Mr. Lemand joins the Abu Dhabi-based financial services firm from Emirates Securities & Commodities Authority, having served as its Head of Risk Management for over seven years. He has also held a number of senior roles at Fortis Investments dating back to 2003.

According to Matteo Legler, ADS Securities’ Chief Operating Officer, Head of Global Markets, Wealth Management and Asset Management, in a recent statement on the appointment: “Our focus is on developing innovative asset management solutions and structuring new products to deliver high quality asset management services. To do this we need to have the right people who can take our strategy to a new level. Dr Lemand will make a significant contribution to the team, taking forward our academic and professional knowledge, and allowing us to offer market leading structuring and solutions for our clients.”

“Abu Dhabi has developed a global reputation for financial services. Access to Liquidity , market focused regulation and great investment opportunities are attracting clients from all the main markets. Our focus will be on structuring new products, risk management and delivering competitive returns. I am very pleased to be joining this dynamic and forward thinking team,” added Mr. Lemand in an accompanying statement.

Earlier this month, ADS Securities made headlines after it announced a new regional expansion to Hong Kong. Following the appointment of former Saxo Bank executive Francis Lee as Managing Director of the Hong Kong office, the company revealed that it was starting a retail offering. Subsequently, traders in the region are now able to use the proprietary multi-asset platform of ADS Securities, OREX.
