Ian Daniels has been appointed Chief Operating Officer and Global Head of eFX at SmartMoney, according to a LinkedIn announcement made today (Tuesday).

On the post, he wrote: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Operating Officer and Global Head of eFX at SmartMoney.”

Daniels Moves from BGC to SmartMoney

Daniels previously served as an Executive Committee Member at ACI UK Financial Markets Association from November 2022 to the present.

Before that, Daniels spent over four years at Nomura. His roles included Executive Director and Head of eFX Distribution for EMEA from September 2018 to September 2022, and part-time Co-chair of the Embrace Multicultural Network from December 2021 to September 2022.
