Safello is the broader Europe’s equivalent of a Bittylicious: it gives you the ability to buy or sell bitcoins instantly with multiple payment options. It allows buy/sell order entry for future fulfillment without going so far as to behave like a full-blown exchange. They currently support 87 banks in 11 countries.
They have brought on Jumio, which lets you “turn your customer’s computer or smartphone into a credit card scanner.” Jumio enlists Netverify, who verifies online and mobile identities in real-time, effectively providing a near-instantaneous know-your-client (KYC) function. Customers will be able to scan their ID document with their device camera.

By verifying a customer’s payment source and identity in near real-time, a trade can be made immediately made on an exchange, allowing Safello to guarantee their quoted price to the client.
Mark Barach, CMO at Jumio, said:
“More and more Bitcoin operators are ready and willing to embrace customer verification through Jumio’s automated identity authentication service. Safello are one of the new operators driving a quicker, slicker customer experience in Bitcoin by incorporating new technologies like Jumio’s Netverify along the way. We are also delighted to announce Safello as a new member of BISON, the Bitcoin Identity Security Open Network, where they join likeminded Bitcoin operators who have chosen to embrace customer verification processes.”
This is part of another growing trend to make Bitcoin easier for the masses. Bittylicous, which brands itself to help you quickly buy bitcoins, recently added more payment options to make it even easier. Bitcoin wallets like KryptoKit and bitcoinwallet.com have also gained popularity by simplifying the process and introducing social netwroking elements.
