In May, hackers gained access to Ver’s old hotmail account, and from there, managed to reset passwords on an old Facebook account and register.com, which held several of his domain names. They also aimed, unsuccessfully, for his primary e-mail account and domain.
Ver offered a 37.6 BTC bounty for information leading directly to their arrests, which reportedly scared them away.
