"Cointalks Dubai" - First Major Bitcoin Conference to be Held in Middle East

On Monday, 21st of April 2014, a seminar meet expo meet conference will take place in the United Arab Emiates, Dubai at the Impact Business Hub, entitled Cointalks Dubai.

According to the official website,

"Cointalks Dubai is a community-driven event bringing Bitcoin and digital currency enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals under one roof to connect, learn, and Exchange ideas."

This isn't the first time we've heard of Bitcoin making a name for itself in Dubai, as back in March, there were some rumours that there were hundreds of Bitcoin ATMs about to be installed in Dubai, due to a certain image. This image made social media buzzing with excitement that Dubai was going to be the new Bitcoin hub. Except it turned out to be a mirage.

Until now. Whilst we're not going to be seeing the multitude of Bitcoin ATMs, the fact that such a key event is talking place in Dubai, in conjunction to the first Bitcoin ATM being installed earlier this week, is testament to the burgeoning desire emanating from the Middle East to delve into the crypto currency arena.

Cointalks Dubai mention that,

"The plan is to create awareness about the opportunities of using this exciting technology"

There will be a panel of speakers, who will speak about a range of topics, including, but not limited to crypto currency exchanges, Bitcoin's value, security, and mining.

Although the event takes place on the 21st, there is an initial, by invitation only event taking place the day before on the 20th.
