According to a press release, RE/MAX London becomes the first real estate agency in the UK to accept digital currency payments. Said Peggy Su, regional owner and director at RE/MAX London, “RE/MAX is the most productive estate agency network in the world, and this is due, in part, to the way we proactively leverage emerging technologies.”

RE/MAX’s leading representation in 95 countries, she said, underscores the need to offer a wide variety of payment options. “Together with GoCoin, we are realizing the efficiencies of the new payments technology and its ability to add value to our internal business operations,” she added.

The GoCoin partnership will allow customers to pay with one of the three digital currencies, while RE/MAX will receive payments in the local fiat currency. The pound sterling is now supported by GoCoin, which added it along with euros and Singapore dollars last month.
