Adyen supports over 180 currencies and 250 payment methods, processing $25 billion in transactions last year. It started in 2006 and has since grown to over 190 employees serving over 3,500 clients.

In addition to facilitating the core function of payments, the company provides insights into KPIs such as conversion metrics and shopper behavior on a site’s checkout page. Its payment platform is certified PCI Level 1. Other tools include a risk management system which assesses a given transaction’s fraud score, helping reduce the likelihood of chargebacks.

Bitcoin payment processors like BitPay and Coinbase have made a number of notable partnerships during the last year. On this integration, however, BitPay points out, “These are the types of integrations needed to advance bitcoin.”
