At the upcoming Finance Magnates London Summit, attendees will be able to see a leading example of how the revolutionary technology will be applied to institutional FX.

Lykke - a Swiss fintech company which recently crowd-raised $1 million to apply for broker and trading facility licenses in Europe, Asia and North America - will be taking part in the FX Factor, the London Summit 2016’s Institutional Product Pitch. Created by Richard Olsen, a co-founder and former CEO of OANDA, Lykke wishes to transform the way trading is done all along the value chain.

Representing Lykke at the FX Factor will be Demetrios Zamboglou, Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), Lykke Group of Companies. He is an award-winning FX executive with over nine years of international experience. Demetrios is also a Candidate PhD in Behavioural Finance from King’s College London.

The blockchain start-up will face tough competition from four other impressive firms for the Finance Magnates Award.

The process and judges

The FX Factor product pitch will be held on November 14th. Each speaker will get five minutes to present his firm's innovation. As an attendee you too can have your say and affect the result of the event, as the vote of the distinguished panel of judges gets 70% and the audience gets 30% of the final vote.

Presiding as judges for the competition will be: Glenn Stevens, GAIN Capital, CEO; Lee Sanders, AXA Investment Managers, Head of FX and FI dealing; Eddie Tofpik, Head of FX at ADM ISI, Mark Barnes, Giving What We Can; and Paul Houston, CME Group, Global Head of FX.

The award for the Most Outstanding Institutional FX Product will be given November 15th, at the Summit's concluding ceremony.
