FxNet has appointed Jaymes Payten as Marketing Director, who joins the company after a one year stint at FXTM. The new hire comes from a marketing background after working for three years at 3CX as Head of Marketing and Communications.

According to the LinkedIn profile of Payten, he has playing a key role in the executing of a marketing strategy at FXTM as he worked to develop and promote the brand by developing a content strategy.

FxNet is an STP broker headquartered in Limassol, which has some clients in Eastern Europe. The company is licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC ) and is regulated as a Cyprus Investment Firm.

With the ever-growing number of Cypriot brokerages, the opportunities for foreign exchange professionals on the island continue growing. Back in 2014, placement data from Global Recruitment Solutions has outlined that Forex is the largest recruitment sector for the firm with 30 per cent of the job vacancies being filled throughout the year.

According to data provided by the same company the salaries for senior marketing executives on the island range between €40,000 and €60,000 euros, while marketing officers receive between €24,000 and €35,000.
