Mizuho Securities USA Adds Eric Shenker as Head of Equities Trading - US

Mizuho Securities USA (MSUSA), the US investment subsidiary of Mizuho Financial Group (NYSE: MFG), has appointed Eric Shenker as the group’s newest Managing Director and Head of US Equity Trading, according to a Mizuho statement.

Back in July, Mizuho Securities named Irina Koffler as its Managing Director and Senior Analyst. She has since been leading the group’s specialty pharmaceutical research, having joined from Cantor Fitzgerald in a similar role.

Prior to joining Mizuho Securities, Mr. Shenker worked as the Head of Equities Trading at institutional broker-dealer CRT Capital Group. In addition, he has held a variety of senior equity-centric positions, including roles at Alliance Bernstein LP, Bascom Hill Partners, Morgan Stanley, and Deutsche Bank, among others.
