Malta-based EXANTE has announced it has became an official member of the local Malta Stock Exchange on October 6, 2016.

In addition to previously available instruments, EXANTE’s clients will soon have direct electronic access to stocks of the major Maltese companies. The company said that all the Malta Stock Exchange listed instruments will become available for trading through the EXANTE trading terminal within a few weeks.

The company has hosted a formal reception to celebrate its membership. The event was attended by the key executives of EXANTE, the chairman and executives of the exchange, staff and key stakeholders of EXANTE. All of EXANTE’s directors attended the event that they describe as a milestone in the history of the company which was founded in 2011. Besides addressing the audience, EXANTE and Malta Stock Exchange leaders took the opportunity to ring the Exchange bell.

Back in July 2016 EXANTE announced an expansion that will offer access to several key Asian market locales, including Hong Kong Exchange (HKEx), the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX), and the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).
