Webull Securities Limited, the Hong Kong subsidiary of Webull Corporation, has launched Vega AI, an artificial intelligence-powered investment tool, while outlining plans to expand into South Korean stock trading.
The platform already offers access to US and Hong Kong stocks, China A-shares and Japanese stocks. Canadian stock trading is also on Webull HK's future roadmap.
Webull had previously introduced Vega Analyst, an AI-powered stock research tool.
Webull HK Launches Vega AI Tool
According to the company, Vega AI combines market analysis, company research, personalised strategy support and order placement. It is designed to support research and decision-making rather than make investment decisions for users.
Wang Haichen, Chief Executive Officer of Webull HK, said AI's value lies in its ability to “connect professional investment research, global market opportunities and the trading experience effectively.”

Vega AI focuses on three areas: identifying potential investment opportunities, interpreting corporate earnings and supporting personalised strategies. It also provides daily stock briefings and voice interaction for Hong Kong users.
Users can review AI-generated research and strategy suggestions before placing orders. Webull HK said all investment decisions and trading instructions remain under the user's control.
Edmond Cheung, Head of Product and Innovation at Webull HK, said AI can help investors “establish context, interpret data and evaluate their choices.” However, he added that “AI cannot—and should not—replace an investor's own assessment of risk.”
AI Push Extends Into Trading Platforms
Webull HK said user conversations are encrypted and the AI system operates separately from its core account systems. Vega AI does not execute trades automatically.
Looking ahead, the company plans to extend AI support to additional products, including US options, and develop an open Model Context Protocol, or MCP, architecture connecting AI capabilities, quantitative models and data services.
The approach follows a wider push by brokers to connect AI systems with trading platforms. Monex Group recently integrated Monex Securities with ChatGPT and Claude through an MCP server.
