Optimizing user experience

CMC Markets Partners With The BIO Agency for New Website Redesign

CMC Markets is making headlines once more just days before the company begins trading on the London Stock Exchange.

One of the leading CFDs and spread betting operators in the UK, CMC Markets has launched a redesigned version of its website in the UK. The news comes just days before the company’s floatation on the London Stock Exchange in an IPO expected to value the company at about $1.05 billion.

The company’s new website design is bringing in a more modern look in line with the latest design trends. For the development of the new front end, the company has partnered with independent digital agency The BIO Agency. The new look is following the minimalistic tendencies which have been trending in recent years and simplifies the user experience.

With the online presence of the company completely changed, the company is likely to take a new approach towards marketing. With the brand publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange the firm is aiming to raise its profile not only in the UK, but also abroad.

The website has been completely redesigned from the ground up and is already live in the UK. The company is expected to roll it out worldwide shortly. With optimization for mobile displays the website is also improving its search ranking after Google has updated its rankings earlier this year to include a special bonus for mobile compatible websites.

The Global Head of Digital at CMC Markets commented on the launch: “The BIO Agency helped us create a website to set a new benchmark in our industry. By de-cluttering the site and rebuilding it with our customers in mind, BIO hasn’t just helped us develop a more commercial platform, they’ve created a truly best-in-class user experience too.”

The CEO of The BIO Agency, Peter Veash, added: “The online trading industry can be seen as complex and often hard to grasp. We focused on the user’s experience by creating an easy-to-navigate journey that provides enough information for prospects to understand the market.”
