Interactive Brokers (Nasdaq: IBKR) has partnered with Reflexivity to launch a new tool, Investment Themes, which helps investors turn market trends into trade ideas, making the stock research process easier.

Making Stock Research Simple

Reflexivity developed the tool’s core thematic intelligence using its own knowledge graph, which maps real-world links between companies and their business drivers.

IBKR users can now search for topics like “Generative AI” or “Nuclear Energy” and instantly see the public companies connected to those themes. According to the company, this tool removes the need for complex filters during stock research.

“Investment Themes will help our clients turn raw relationship data into a narrative that they can trade on,” said Steve Sanders, EVP of Marketing and Product Development at Interactive Brokers. “It’s about helping investors turn curiosity into conviction more efficiently.”

The tool currently supports the full list of S&P 1500 stocks, allowing it to link products, competitors, and regions across that index. A new Investment Themes tab will now appear in the Fundamental Explorer section of each covered stock.

Interactive Brokers also confirmed that the tool is available to all clients worldwide at no extra cost.

Many Platforms Are Adding Stock Research Tools

Other brokers are also expanding their stock research offerings. TradeStation recently integrated TipRanks’ tools to help its clients with stock research. Notably, Interactive Brokers already offers TipRanks’ tools to its own users.

Another platform using TipRanks is CMC Invest, the physical share trading service of CMC Markets, which added the tools for its UK clients. CMC had already made the tools available to its clients in Australia and Singapore since last December.

Interactive Brokers has also introduced a microlearning mobile app to help beginner investors learn through short, interactive lessons on their phones. Called InvestMentor, the app provides users with basic content on topics such as stocks, bonds, options, futures, and investment strategies.
