OctaFX has bolstered its promotional campaign in India with the signing of the latest sponsorship deal with Indian domestic cricket team, Delhi Capitals, the forex and CFDs broker announced on Friday.

Delhi Capitals is a franchised cricket team of the Indian Premier League, which organizes a domestic 20-20 cricket league every year since 2008. The team was previously known as Delhi Daredevils and is owned by the JSW Group.

Commenting on the partnership deal, Delhi Capitals’ Team Manager said: “We are honored to receive such a radiant new wave of support. We understand that this sponsorship is not only a gift for our team but for the whole of cricket, as a sport.”

However, it is still not clear how OctaFX will promote its brand with the new sponsorship deal. Though, the financials involved in the deal are not known to the public.

Targeting the Emerging Markets

OctaFX offers Forex and CFDs trading services and is turning into a big trading brand in the emerging markets, especially in Asia. Additionally, the brand operates in the European markets with its license obtained from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC ).

The broker is continuously running huge advertisement campaigns across all media platforms to lure new traders on its platform, and the latest sponsorship deal is just another step up to promote its services in the country. Earlier, OctaFX signed deals with popular cricket players in the country for promotions.
