FM LOGOForex Magnates has launched a new section within the site devoted to startups and new products. One of the things we noticed during 2012 was that despite the poor volume figures and revenue shortfalls, constant innovation hit the market. These initiatives included basic apps all the way to entirely new trading platforms and ECN venues.

For years, the forex trading industry was described as lacking innovation on the product side. However, this is changing quickly. This evolution can be attributed to a number of factors. First, as the industry has matured, traders have become more sophisticated and are demanding better products from brokers. This has caused firms to become more competitive and to develop new offerings in-house and from third parties with which to provide their clients. Secondly, as the forex market has grown larger, it has attracted a larger set of startups and establishing companies that are trying to market their solutions to the industry. Lastly, the overall advancements in both fixed and mobile networking have led to technological innovation taking place along all asset classes.

From our readers, we have also seen demand for a greater focus on innovation taking place. The Forex Magnates Startup and New Products Portal was created to provide a central location for the important innovation taking place.
Coinciding with the new portal, Forex Magnates is also launching two new products; Startup Directory & Beta Testing.

Startup Directory: Similar to the existing forex directory, a new section devoted to financial startups, both in and out of the forex space is being created. The directory will provide new companies the opportunity to promote themselves and their products to a mass audience.
