collaboration aims to transform car rental payments for Hertz, Dollar, and
Thrifty car rental brands, marking a milestone in the digital transformation of

Streamlining Payment Processes across Hertz Locations
The partnership between Stripe and Hertz will see the
consolidation of the majority of in-person and online payment volume on
Stripe's platform, aligning with Hertz's digital rental strategy. This move
underscores Hertz's focus on streamlining payment processes across its
corporate-owned locations in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and New
Zealand.
As part of the partnership, Stripe and Hertz have developed
a shared product roadmap to address specific payment needs, including extended
authorizations for weekly or monthly rentals.

Hertz is adapting to the changing landscape by diversifying
its car rental fleet and catering to a broader range of customer segments,
including leisure travelers, business professionals, and rideshare drivers.
With billions in revenue generated from online and in-person bookings, Hertz

ahead in the competitive market.
