paysafecard now available in Bulgaria

European leader in prepaid payment methods, paysafecard, after recently entering the Australian market has now announced it will provide its services to Bulgaria as well. Bulgaria was one of the only EU countries where paysafecard was not present.

To those unfamiliar, paysafecard is an alternative payment method, essentially a prepaid eVoucher used with supporting online merchants. The eVouchers can be purchased from over 450,000 sales terminals spread all over the world. After the purchase, the pin code associated to the voucher can either be entered to the merchant’s checkout page, or into a my-paysafecard account. The my-paysafecard account can accumulate multiple pin codes to allow for a collective balance of all the purchased vouchers. paysafecard is extremely popular throughout the world due to its ease of use, security and ability to allow customers to pay online with cash.

To ensure maximum reach from the start, paysafecard partnered with licensed and highly successful prepaid payment provider Easypay. The partnership with Easypay has enabled 1,000 Bulgarian retail locations to sell paysafecard cards from day one. paysafecard will continue to expand their reach with more outlets coming soon.

paysafecard has now an immense reach, it was recently added as a payment option by Allied Wallet and is also, together with its parent company Skrill, one of the only approved payment methods for the newly legalized internet gambling in New Jersey.
