The global financial services company XS.com has promoted Fabian Frantz to Business Development Director for South Africa, the company announced today (Thursday).
In his new role, Frantz will lead initiatives to grow XS.com's client base and tailor offerings to the South African market. He will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, Wael Hammad.

According to the press release, Frantz brings experience in fostering partnerships and developing strategies suited to unique market dynamics.
"Fabian's expertise in business development and understanding of South Africa will be pivotal as we look to strengthen our presence there," Hammad said.
XS.com aims to leverage Frantz's background to navigate South Africa's complex business landscape and capitalize on growth opportunities. The company sees the market as integral to expanding its global footprint.
For his part, Frantz expressed enthusiasm about reaching "new heights with XS.com" in South Africa. He said that he will focus on innovative expansion strategies, customer relationships, and delivering value.
The appointment was made as XS.com pushes to grow its business across regions. A month ago, the company launched XS Prepaid Mastercard and XS Cards Mobile App, designed to streamline the funding process for traders and partners.
Hiring Spree Continues
Frantz's promotion marks a significant development in XS.com's recent focus on personnel changes within its team.
Additionally, in October, Pavlina Zinonos was appointed Senior Customer Support Manager, bringing over 15 years of industry experience. Further, in July, Mabyanine Phiri joined XS.com as Marketing Manager for the Southern Africa region. Concurrently, the company appointed Shadi Salloum as the Director for the MENA region. In May, the team was joined by Wael Hammad, who became the new Chief Commercial Officer. Hammad has over ten years of experience in similar positions at other financial firms.
