John Kinghorn has joined Peratera as Commercial Director, following more than two decades in partnerships, business development and relationship management roles across payments and financial services.
“One of the biggest challenges for brokers and financial services firms is finding the right mix of traditional and alternative banking solutions,” Kinghorn said, adding that providers need to understand their clients' businesses and support their growth.

Moves from IFX Payments to Peratera
Kinghorn joins Peratera after spending nearly three years at IFX Payments , where he served as Partnerships Director. His role focused on partnerships and business development.
Before IFX Payments, Kinghorn spent more than one year at BVNK as Director of Partnerships. He worked closely with the Head of Partnerships to develop strategy, generate new business opportunities and manage the existing partner base.

He previously spent more than four years at Equals Money as Vice President of Affiliates & Partnerships. He led the group's partnerships team, with responsibilities covering business development, strategic partnerships, alliances and affiliate programmes.
Spent Nearly 14 Years at moneycorp
Kinghorn spent nearly 14 years at moneycorp before joining Equals Money. He joined the company through its graduate trainee scheme and held several positions during his tenure.
He spent more than four years as Senior Key Account Manager, focusing on client relationship management and business development. He then spent more than one year as Manager of Key Partnerships, where he was responsible for the account management and business development teams.
Kinghorn subsequently spent more than five years as Head of UK Partnerships. In that role, he led the UK partnerships team and was responsible for driving profitable business growth.
His career at moneycorp also began with three years on its graduate trainee scheme.
