Sundar Nagarathnam Joins Cion Digital as COO

To execute its growth plans, Cion Digital recently announced the appointment of Sundar Nagarathnam, the former Vice President of Global Professional Services and Education at VMware, as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Since its launch in 2021, Cion Digital has enhanced its services significantly to meet the growing demand for blockchain-based services. According to the details shared by Cion Digital, the company is working with several fintech firms and crypto services providers to deliver alternative financing and payment solutions.

Nagarathnam’s broad professional career of more than 25 years includes his time at technology giants like Salesforce and Cloud Lending Solutions. Additionally, he worked at Oracle and NetApp.

“Sundar’s established track record of achieving measurable results in driving innovation and transformation across a variety of sectors speaks for itself, and I am delighted to welcome him to the team,” said Snehal Fulzele, the Founder and CEO of Cion Digital. “His in-depth knowledge and expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth seamless client onboarding and operational excellence as we expand into different sectors and markets.”

Operations

Cion Digital noted that the appointment of the new COO will play an important role in the efficient management of the firm’s operations. Prior to joining Cion Digital, the newly appointed Chief Operating Officer had served as the Senior Vice President of Professional Services, Training and Enablement at Automation Anywhere.

Nagarathnam completed his Electrical Engineering studies at the Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) and holds an MSC in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University.
