Skilling Onboards Judita Simkeviciute as Group Compliance Head

Skilling, a broker offering forex and CFDs trading services, has strengthened its leadership team with the latest appointment of Judita Simkeviciute as Global Head of Compliance.

Announced on Thursday, the appointment came as the broker is focused on expanding into new markets. Also, focusing on compliance comes as a part of its strategic and growth-oriented goals.

Simkeviciute will be responsible for overseeing compliance of the broker’s global operations. She will report directly to the CEO of Skilling Group, Michael Kamerman.

“I’m delighted to join Skilling at such an exciting time for the group, and to play a key part in offering Skilling's services to more customers and markets,” said Simkeviciute.

“Skilling has been on an impressive growth trajectory over the last two years, and I look forward to utilizing my experience to help deliver the next phase of Skilling’s ambitious growth strategy.”

Strong Background in Compliance

Simkeviciute brings a strong background in regulatory compliance to her new role. In her professional career, she worked with several trading brands, overseeing their compliance efforts.

Before joining Skilling, she was Head of compliance and MLRO for Equiti Group, another broker with a global presence. Moreover, she had a year-long stint with StoneX Retail (then GAIN Capital) as the Director of Compliance.

In addition, she spent some time with GKFX and Interactive Brokers in compliance-related roles.

“Appointing Judita as Global Head of Compliance represents a significant milestone for Skilling as we continue to scale up our operations and enter new markets,” Kamerman said.

“Judita brings significant prior experience of overseeing compliance teams within several well-established brokers, which will be invaluable in helping to future-proof our business while solidifying Skilling’s position as a reputable and trusted broker worldwide.”
