Sentinels, a regtech company owned by Fenergo, is focusing on expansion in the United Kingdom with the recent hiring of Adrian Jenkins as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

According to the press release shared with Finance Magnates on Tuesday, Jenkins is based in London and will be primarily responsible for the company’s growth, leading its sales, marketing and business development.

“It’s a delight to join Sentinels to support its entry into the UK,” Jenkins said in a statement. “It was important to me that I join a company with a strong purpose, great people and an exceptional product.”

Additionally, the appointment is strategic as the regtech company wants to leverage Jenkins’ industry experience to consolidate and build out its position in the United Kingdom market.

He brings more than 25 years of experience to his new role, with a solid background in building products in lifecycle phases. His expertise revolves around B2B enterprise sales and revenue growth.

Most recently, he worked with Arkose Labs as Regional Vice President for EMEA. There, he was responsible for leading regional sales and revenue of the company’s fraud prevention and account security solutions.

Before that, he spent four years with the IT company, Amdocs as the VP of Sales and General Manager for EMEA. Moreover, he worked for Oracle and Vindicia.

“His impressive and extensive experience in leading commercial teams at all stages, from those with minimal revenue to those with $100 million, is ideal for helping us to achieve our growth ambitions in the UK and beyond,” said Sentinels’ CEO, Joost van Houten.

“We’re already working to address the underserved anti-money laundering and transaction monitoring needs of fintechs and financial institutions across mainland Europe, we’re pleased to further strengthen our fight against financial crime in the UK market.”
