PayPal Names Expedia’s John Kim as New Chief Product Officer

PayPal (Nasdaq: PYPL) announced the appointment of John Kim as an Executive Vice President and the new Chief Product Officer. He will join the payments giant on 26 September, and will replace Mark Britto who will retire at the end of this year.

At Paypal, he will navigate the consumer and merchant product and engineering teams.

As an expert in building foundational consumer products and marketplaces, he brings more than two decades of experience to his new role.

Facebook’s Carolina Ceballos Is Paxos’ First Dedicated Chief Compliance Officer

Paxos has hired Carolina Ceballos as its first dedicated Chief Compliance Officer.

The General Counsel at Paxos, Ben Gray announced Ceballos’ appointment on Thursday in a statement published on Paxos’ website.

Gray described Ceballos’ appointment as another significant step taken by Paxos toward strengthening the company's culture of compliance and oversight.

M4Markets Promotes Mariliza Karrera to Head of Marketing

M4Markets has promoted Marilliza Karrera to the position of Head of Marketing.

Karrera joined M4Markets in November 2020 after spending over two and a half years at Tickmill where she worked first as a Marketing Officer and then as a Marketing Executive.

The M4Markets marketing professional announced her promotion on Thursday on LinkedIn, thanking Marilena Iakovou, M4Markets’ Group Chief Marketing Officer, 'for trusting me'.

Former Capital.com CEO Jon Squires Joins Skilling as Executive Chair

Jon Squires has joined the forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) broker, Skilling as the Executive Chairman.

He is based in Cyprus and will be advising the broker on the scaling of its expanding operations.

Squires is a veteran when it comes to the trading industry with two decades of executive experience.

He headed Capital.com and Currency.com for more than a couple of years.

ADSS Picks Mark Hudson as Group Chief Human Resources Officer

ADSS announced recently that it has appointed Mark Hudson as the Group's Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In an official announcement on Tuesday, ADSS noted that the appointment of Hudson will facilitate the company’s growth strategy. In the past few years, ADSS has expanded its presence significantly amid the growing demand for innovative financial trading products across the world.

Hudson has extensive expertise in HR operations. Earlier, he worked with some of the leading financial services providers. He spent in excess of three years at First Abu Dhabi Bank. During his time at the bank, he served in the position of Senior Vice President & Head of HR for its Investment Banking, Corporate & Commercial Banking and international divisions.

Advanced Markets Names Evangeline Mauthe as Compliance and AML Officer

Advanced Markets Group has named Evangeline Mauthe as its new Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering Officer.

She joined Advanced Markets from BNP Paribas. There, she was a Senior Due Diligence Controller for Corporate and Institutional Banking, based out of Germany, for five months. Prior to that, she held the role of Head of Compliance at FSG Holdings for a couple of years.

IG Group Hires Tobias Stöhr as the Head of Sales in Germany

IG Group (LON: IGG) is enhancing its operations in Europe with the latest appointment of Tobias Stöhr as the Head of Sales for Germany.

According to his Linkedin profile, Stöhr, based in Frankfurt, has joined the IG Group's German unit, IG Europe GmbH, this month.

He joined the London-headquartered broker from retail securitized derivatives trading Spectrum Markets, another independent unit of IG. There, he was a Sales Executive for three-and-a-half years.

Equiti Promotes Hamad Haider as the Global Chief Legal Officer

Equiti Group has promoted Hamad Haider as the new Global Chief Legal Officer. Based in Dubai, he was previously holding the position of Global Head of Legal.

Haider joined the broker in September 2020, primarily to support its growth plans. His responsibilities included the expansion of the group’s legal team, among a few other non-legal decision-making tasks.

He comes with a strong legal background and more than 15 years of experience.

Revolut Hires ArgusFX’s Christos Drakos as Executive Director for Cyprus

Christos Drakos has left ArgusFX to join Revolut as the Executive Director for Cyprus. Drakos, who has more than 10 years of industry experience, announced a new position on Monday on his LinkedIn account.

The new position is Drakos’ third career appointment as the Executive Director of a financial services company operating in Cyprus.

Before ArgusFX, Drakos was the Executive Director at OvalX’s office in Cyprus.

Paysend Selects Wilhelm Rohde as Group CFO

Paysend announced that it has strengthened its executive leadership team with the appointment of Wilhelm Rohde as the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Rohde has a strong presence in the corporate sector. At American Express, he spent approximately 14 years and served in a wide range of senior-level positions. Prior to joining American Express, he worked at Deloitte Consulting.

Invast Global Hires Andrew Bradshaw as Head of Prime Services

on Monday, Invast Global announced its appointment of Andrew Bradshaw as Head of Prime Services. Based in Sydney, Australia, he has already taken up the role.

Bradshaw is one of the many key additions of the broker to its prime services team. Recently, it recruited Cyrus Poon as the MD of Prime Services, as well as onboarding Matt Harris and Harry Fry as Directors.

In the new post, Bradshaw will oversee strategic projects across Invast’s Prime Services, with a focus on servicing the company’s Hedge Fund and Family office clients.
