Mastercard Hires Chad Wallace as Executive Vice President of B2B Solutions

NYSE-listed payments giant, Mastercard has recently announced the appointment of Chad Wallace, the former Head of Digital Experiences for the Commercial Bank at Capital One, as the company’s new Executive Vice President of B2B Solutions.

Wallace has nearly 10 years of experience in the financial services sector. The newly appointed Executive Vice President of B2B Solutions has joined the company from Goldman Sachs, where he worked as the Global Head of Digital for Transaction Banking within the bank’s Investment Banking division.

In his new position, Wallace will drive the growth of Mastercard’s broad commercial offering. He will oversee the company’s corporate travel and expense (T&E) management products, purchasing cards, virtual cards and B2B payments.

Wallace has extensive experience related to digital transformation within the global financial services industry. Mastercard is planning to utilize Wallace's experience for the digital transformation of corporate payments.

In the past few months, Mastercard has formed several partnerships with prominent companies to drive the adoption of innovative technology-driven payment solutions. The company recently joined hands with Temenos, Massmart and a broad list of BNPL firms.

Previous Experience

Furthermore, Wallace spent some time at financial services provider Capital One, where he worked for its Commercial Banking division and led a team responsible for migrating the treasury management digital experience to the cloud. Prior to that, he worked with TD Ameritrade, E*TRADE Financial and SunTrust.
