Michael Onofrio has ten years of experience in the financial industry, most of which were dedicated to JP Morgan. According to his LinkedIn profile, Mr. Onofrio held his former position for four and a half years, starting in February 2013. Before joining this team, he served as the Vice President of Electronic Trading for nearly five years starting in June 2008 at the company’s office in New York. Mr. Onofrio also worked as an Analyst at Bear Sterns and Company between June 2007 and June 2008.
He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Penn State University, which is located in Pennsylvania, United States.
In May, ITG tapped John Emmert and Sean O’Meara as Directors of the company’s New York team. Mr. Emmert has been appointed as Director of the Global Portfolio Trading team, while Mr. O’Meara has been secured as Director of ETF Trading US. Both men are industry veterans, with thirty-four years of experience between them.
In addition, ITG revealed its plans to assist in deploying conditional orders for POSIT Alert in Europe while the trading industry awaits the upcoming MiFID II legislation.
