INFINOX announced on Monday the appointment of Aaron Brown as the broker’s Head of Institutional Sales for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. His primary focus would be to support the growth of the company’s liquidity provider division, IXO Prime, globally and in MENA.

“I’m very honoured to be joining the INFINOX and IXO Prime teams. Having worked in the industry for a number of years, I’ve watched INFINOX’s rapid growth and been really impressed by the presence they’ve created during that period,” Brown said in a statement.

“When the opportunity to join the company was presented, I was thrilled to accept it and play a part in its continued international growth in the MENA region.”

An Industry Veteran

Brown’s appointment came as a strategic move for the broker. He brings almost two decades of sales experience, especially from the FX and CFDs industry.

He worked with Abu Dhabi-headquartered international brokerage ADSS for more than two years before joining the role at INFINOX. He parted with the broker earlier this month as a Senior Institutional Sales Manager for eFX and CFDs.

In addition, he had a short five-month stint at CFH Clearing as the Vice President of Institutional Sales. Moreover, he worked in the institutional sales division of Global Market Index Limited for a year.

Brown started his career in June 2006 with London Metal Exchange and later moved to Societe Generale. His other prominent industry experience includes his tenure at FXCM, again in the institutional sales division.

Meanwhile, INFINOX is focused on strengthening its leadership. The broker promoted Alex Praill to the role of Chief Operating Officer last February with an aim to accelerate the company’s growth.
