Horizon Appoints Philippe Thomas as Advisor

Horizon Software, a provider of electronic and algorithmic trading solutions and technology, has hired Philippe Thomas as a member of its advisory board.

Thomas is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the Fintech sector. Currently, he works as a business consultant, administrator, and investor at London-based New World Wind. Prior to that, he served as the COO of Ullink for a year after spending more than a decade with the firm on various leadership positions including chief revenue officer and managing director of EMEA, APAC, and Americas.

Commenting on his new role, Thomas said: “I’m very much looking forward to playing a part in and helping drive the expansion of Horizon, one of the world’s leading trading technology providers. This is a great opportunity for me to combine my managing and coaching skills as well as financial markets and technology experience to work with Horizon’s executive team and further enhance the company’s outstanding global presence.”

Thomas started his career as a market controller at NYSE Euronext before joining the FIS subsidiary Sungard. There, he served for more than six years at various leadership roles like managing director and vice president of international sales.

Last year, Horizon added many big names to the firm like Francis Leclerc, Keith Todd, and former HSBC veteran Damien Jenner.
