Georges Lauchard became Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Managing Board at Euronext in Paris, pending all relevant approvals, the firm has announced. He will take up his new role today, March 17, 2020.
Lauchard will oversee Euronext’s operational strategy, policies, and execution, supporting the company’s ambition to become the leading market infrastructure in Europe.

His deep knowledge of our industry, as well as his experience in managing large and complex organisations and executing transformations at scale, will be a great addition to the team,” said Stephane Boujnah, CEO and Chairman of the Board at Euronext.
Prior to joining Euronext, Lauchard worked as COO/CFO at JPMorgan’s Investment Bank technology team since February 2018.

He spent 20 years at the bank in London and Hong Kong, holding numerous leadership roles.
Lauchard was Head of Global Front Office Market supervision, COO of Global Currencies and Emerging Markets Trading, as well as COO of the Asian Markets and Investor Services Sales, Merger Integration Project Manager and Operations and Client Services Manager.
His career began at JP Morgan in Paris 1996. He then moved to BNP Paribas in New York, where he spent two years before moving to JPMorgan in London.
