GBE Brokers Joined by Jaymes Marsh as Head of Marketing
- James Marsh and CEO Rifat Sayim elaborate on the company’s future marketing plans.
GBE Brokers on-boarded a Head of Marketing in February this year. The newly created position is set to take the company in a new direction as it aims to diversify its business with an institutional offering.
Earlier today Finance Magnates exclusively reported on the company's official launch of GBE Prime, which is focusing on institutional clients. Commenting on the new hire, the CEO of the brokerage said: “GBE brokers has been operating for just over two years, and therefore in my eyes, we have surpassed what I call the ‘Startup Startup A company operating within its first stage of investing is known as a startup. Marsh is joining the company after spending a bit over a year with FXTM, where he was head of Marketing and Communications.
“Jaymes brings a wealth of marketing and FX knowledge to the table and we have already set about approving the marketing KPIs for his team, as well as the Q3 and Q4 marketing strategy and action plan he provided us with. He is now in the process of building what he calls his ‘Team of Conversioneers’. I also want to add that even though Jaymes has only been with us a short time, he has already made giant strides towards the way we communicate with our traders,” Mr Sayim commented on the company’s future plans.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Marsh stated: “We’re now working on a new website, and my team and I are restructuring the entire communications matrix of the company, which has been massive, but thoroughly enjoyable task! Our sister company, GBE Prime, has recently launched too, so there’s a lot to do, and achieve!”
“One of the key reasons I wanted to join GBE brokers was that I would be given the opportunity to build my own team and really get stuck in with a hands-on approach. I’ve built Marketing Teams wherever I have worked as a Head, and it’s something I love to do. Finding ready-made talent in Cyprus isn’t as easy as it sounds, so looking for the rough diamonds, and working hard to polish them up is something I’m really passionate about,” he elaborated.
