GAIN Capital Taps IG Group Veteran Alastair Hine as Chief Operating Officer

GAIN Capital (NYSE:GCAP) has just made an appointment to its senior management team, picking IG Groupe’s long-serving UK director Alastair Hine to the role of Chief Operating Officer effective November 6, according to a company statement.

Mr. Hine has been a mainstay at IG Group for nearly two decades, having joined the group back in 1999 as a futures trader, but quickly moved into IT as the spread betting firm moved its trading processes onto electronic platforms.
